Led by experienced Captain's, you’ll navigate your way to the beautiful anchorage of Bone Island and spend an extended weekend discovering local anchorages, relaxing in the Bay, and taking part in a variety of social events. This exclusive Rendezvous beckons both intermediate and seasoned boaters alike, offering a chance to utilize your boating skills while venturing along beautiful Georgian Bay. Upon arrival at Port Rawson, boaters will indulge in a weekend of leisure while anchored in the Bay, surrounded by fellow boating enthusiasts. Immerse yourself in a balanced weekend of relaxation and fun, where summer memories and lifelong friendships are made.

Starting this 2025 Rendezvous season, all trips will now require a minimal deposit, including those without marina mooring. For one-day trips or trips without dockage fees, the deposit will be fully refunded after the trip, provided the booking is fulfilled or canceled at least two weeks before the departure date. For full details, please refer to our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
For Trips with dockage fees: We take care of the reservation and payment of fees for your dockage at our overnight marina destinations. To reserve your spot on the Rendezvous (limited event capacity), we kindly require an upfront deposit that will be applied toward your final dockage invoice. The deposit is fully refundable, subject to notice of cancellation being provided not less than 2 weeks prior to the Rendezvous departure date.
Please be advised that the deposit amount is only an estimate based on the dockage fees for a 30’ boat (dockage rates are charged on a per-foot basis). Upon completion of the Rendezvous, we will invoice you for the final amount owing based on the size of your vessel and the actual nights moored which may change depending on boating conditions. While we typically adhere to our itinerary, sometimes weather forces us to remain in place for safe harbour.

What can I expect on the trip?
Each Rendezvous trip offers a unique itinerary guided by seasoned captains who know Georgian Bay and your featured destinations like the back of their hands. Before setting off, you'll join a Captains' Meeting—a relaxed gathering where you’ll dive into trip details, meet your captains, connect with fellow boaters, and get all your questions answered. It's the perfect way to kick off your adventure!
During the trip, get ready for an exciting mix of social events like BBQs, potluck feasts, floatie parties, and more. Each Rendezvous strikes the perfect balance between laid-back relaxation and lively fun, creating memories you'll cherish long after the journey ends.

What should I bring on the trip?
Before each Rendezvous, we will supply you with a suggested list of items that you should bring on your journey. Overall, as a start, it is advised to bring the following items on your trip:
Spare parts and tools (don’t forget the oil filter wrench)
Charts/Ports Guide
Up to date GPS/Navionics
Handheld VHF
First aid kit
100’ tow line. (Even if your dinghy is on a davit it could break and you may have to tow it.)
Binoculars
Life jackets (enough for all guests on your boat)
Knowledge of how to identify things like carbon monoxide. What it is, how to deal with it, and how to prevent it.
Shore power cheaters. (Extra length of shore power cords)
Depending on your boats range, additional fuel in Gerry cans
Ensure your anchor has a safety on it.
Medication such as Benadryl, Gravol, etc.
How many people can come with me on the trip?
Rendezvous
You are welcome to bring as many guests as you would like on the Rendezvous. We ask that you provide the number of guests at registration to help us better prepare for events such as the BBQs or receptions, ensuring we have ample food and provisions.
Captain’s Meeting
Attendance at the Captain’s meeting is open to the registrant and guests who will be assisting with navigation on the trip.
How can I prepare for my trip?
There are three things that are a MUST when preparing for a Rendezvous.
You need to have your batteries tested. Even though you may have multiple batteries, they are only as strong as the weakest one. By ensuring the batteries are strong, you eliminate greatly the risk of equipment failure such as toilets and water pumps.
Fuel filters. Fuel filters take contaminates out of your fuel. This could be water or dirt in your tank.
Impellers. The impellers enable your engines, including your generator, to cool properly and in turn, not to fail.
Have your marina perform a once-over on your boat mechanically.
For any trip, you do not want to rely on your destination having proper parts for your boat should something fail. Have your marina set you up with a parts kit specific to your boat. This could include oils, impellers, water filters, bilge pump, etc. Along with this, check your safety gear including flares and first aid.
Are there any additional fees?

Boaters are responsible for covering certain expenses during the Rendezvous, including fuel for their boat, meals that are outside of any scheduled events (BBQs, potlucks, and receptions), additional slip fees beyond the planned itinerary, any items purchased at the marina(s), and unforeseen mechanical repairs and parts.
